Destination Hawaii! Krishna + Adam’s Maui Wedding Celebration

We love creating stationery for a destination wedding and Krishna + Adam’s Maui celebration was a total delight! Over the course of several days the couple shared and celebrated with friends and family in Hawaii. The intimate island setting allowed for a stress free itinerary that included many sunsets and catching up with loved ones. The wedding venue, Olowalu Plantation, is located on the island of Maui, a tropical destination is known as the Valley Isle is sought out for its gorgeous beaches and flora. The wedding was published on Destination I Do featuring beautiful photography from Megan Noll Photography.

Destination wedding in Hawaii

Krishna and Adam’s stationery vision started with wanting their guests to sense the warm sun and soft sand as soon as they opened their invitation. The bright, modern stationery sets the tone for a festive, beachside wedding with watercolor palm fronds, and bright pink hibiscus. Elevated details include gold foil accent beaded border, watercolor envelope liner, and custom postage stamp. Everything was tucked into navy envelopes with white text.

Krishna shares:

Our programs [which were near and dear to me because they had a message honoring our loved ones who had passed] decided to take a little swim in the Pacific Ocean en route to Maui, and our stationery company, Poeme, which was based in Cincinnati, literally reprinted and re-made the programs two days before the wedding. I remember Kristen with Poeme saying, "Don’t worry! Drink a mimosa and your wedding planner and I will take care of it all." I did, and they did, and the programs were amazingly beautiful.
