Connor + Jaimie’s Tropical Elegant Wedding
A classic, elegant wedding with a tropical motif at Cincinnati’s Hall of Mirrors. Jaimie + Connor chose a beautiful stationery suite with classic beaded border but added their own style to it with a vellum overlay wrap printed with white palm fronds and finished with a gold wax seal. The vellum wrap completely transformed the suite and set the mood for their celebration. The gold seal was a nod to the gold and grandeur of the historic venue famous for its glamorous decor and unique architecture. The day was captured by Leppert Photo unless otherwise stated.

Tell us about your wedding stationery vision and how it came together.
We wanted something elegant and classy, but with a little tropical flair.
Tell us about the proposal.
Connor surprised Jaimie by taking her back to Oxford, OH, where she went to Grad School, for the day and proposed under Upham Arch.
How was your everyday style reflected in your wedding day or was it a departure from your usual style?
We love to travel and our honeymoon was in Hawaii so we wanted to incorporate pieces of the Pacific Islands with the vintage Art Deco in the Hall of Mirrors.
Describe your wedding day.
There are no words to truly capture how special our day was but from start to finish the wedding was gorgeous and more than we could have ever asked for. It was such a fun celebration and everyone made us feel so loved. We’ll cherish it for the rest of our lives.

What detail of the wedding did you focus on the most?
Venue was really important to us and once we saw the Hall of Mirrors we fell in love with it. The other thing that was really important to us was to bring the tradition of the Youngstown Cookie Table, where family members bake cookies to bring to the wedding, to Cincinnati.
What advice would you offer to engaged couples?
Our greatest advice is to enjoy planning the wedding together and have fun with it. At the end of the day the most important thing is you get to celebrate being with the one you love.
