Modern Meets Classic Elegance in Cincinnati’s Findlay Market
Modern meets classic elegance at The Columns, a wedding and event venue right in the heart of Cincinnati’s historic Findlay Market district. This intimate reception was all the about the luxe details including gold flatware, gold rimmed china, quilted linens, modern floral arrangements. The dinner cards are gold letterpress on double thick cotton stock with pearl foil details. Everything was white and gold with the exception of the black chairs that added a grounding contrast to the airy decor.
THE VENUE
The Columns was constructed in 1874 in the Romanesque revival and Italianate style (think deep recesses, thick brick walls and heavy stone masonry) and underwent a transformation in 2021-2021 becoming a sophisticated, modern venue with rooftop observation deck.
Notice the abundance of natural light? The main space’s ceiling features two massive skylights that allow floods of natural light into the space. Paired with the painted white brick and natural hardwood floors for the ultimate contemporary blank slate.
