Our Weddings at Cincinnati’s Hilton Netherland Plaza
Emily + Michael celebrated their winter wedding with a subtle nod to the holiday season and a focus on the elegance of the Hall of Mirrors.
Elegant, classic with a hint of flare! Alexa + Drew’s wedding celebration at the Hilton Netherland Plaza was rich in luxurious paper details. From the modern monogram that made an appearance on everything from the main invitation - a blind embossed beauty! - to the ceremony programs, aisle, and even the dance floor! Gold accents and gold calligraphy were just enough to give some shine to the classic black and white palette.
When Meredith + Zach decided on the Hall of Mirrors as their venue, Meredith’s wedding vision was already nearly complete. She had always dreamed of a celebration in the historic room inspired by the Palace at Versailles. The Art Deco architecture and intricate ornamentation was enhanced with classic white florals, hints of greenery, gold accents, and lots of candles. All the stationery details had to match the beauty and opulence of the venue and what better way to convey this than through letterpress and foil!
Maddie + Eli, like most couples planning a wedding in 2020, were faced with the decision to downsize from a large 250+ celebration to an intimate micro wedding. And, like so many couples who made this decision, found that their wedding day was completely amazing in so many unexpected ways. Maddie + Eli’s day was filled with all the perfect moments including a spontaneous father daughter dance for Maddie and her dad!
Kendall + Matt were married in a gorgeous floral filled ceremony at Cincinnati’s Netherland Hotel in the historic Hall of Mirrors. Rich, architectural tropical florals including purple lilies, papery anemone, and lots of greenery.
A classic, elegant wedding with a tropical motif at Cincinnati’s Hall of Mirrors. Jaimie + Connor chose a beautiful stationery suite with classic beaded border but added their own style to it with a vellum overlay wrap printed with white palm fronds and finished with a gold wax seal.
When I met with Jennifer and her beautiful mother, Carol, they described a formal and elegant affair at one of Cincinnati’s most beloved ballrooms, the Hall of Mirrors at the Hilton Netherland Plaza. A nod to the art deco nature of the venue, with a focus on timeless elegance, was the intended overall look.
Black, white, and gold for a stunning, elegant celebration that hit the high spots of downtown Cincinnati including historic Music Hall. Serena, the beautiful bride, is part of the Corps de Ballet at the Cincinnati Ballet.
The soft light of Gina + Scott’s early March wedding added a perfect brilliance to the celebration that started at St. Xavier Church followed by a reception downtown Cincinnati at the Hilton Netherland Plaza Hall of Mirrors.
Lauren + Cesar's elegant November wedding with romantic reception at Cincinnati's historic Hall of Mirrors on the blog this week. Lauren + Cesar's soft winter color palette carried through from Cesar's lavender bowtie to Lauren's wintery white bouquet to the tall elegant floral arrangements that added drama to the reception space. Lauren's bridal veil catching the wind outside of the church is one of our favorite photos from the day taken by Glenn Tatman Photography.
How was your personal style reflected in your wedding day?
I think I would describe my personal style as fairly simple and traditional in most ways. I love monochromatic designs and sticking with neutral color schemes. I tried to incorporate this and get all of our wedding day details to really reflect that. I chose white bridesmaid's dresses and I loved how it turned out with all of us in the same color.
