How would you describe the overall style of your wedding?

Throughout the wedding planning process, it was always important to both Trevor and me that our 300+ guests felt welcomed and felt the love in the room. We really kept this in mind when making decisions around the overall style. Although we knew it would be a large and fun crowd, we also wanted it to be intimate, warm, romantic and modern. With the help of our fantastic vendors and Viva Bella Events, the Music Hall ballroom was transformed into just that! We designed the room with the dance floor in middle of the guest tables, with lounges/seating areas surrounding the dance floor. The center pieces includes lots of candles, framed table numbers with gold accents, and various flower arrangements. The stage was perfect for The Conspiracy Band and the minute they began planning, the dance floor was packed!

Additionally, we also wanted to include elements that were special to us or played a part in the couple we are today. The dinner menu was based on cities in which Trevor and I have lived together, we had a heritage table full of photos of loved ones, and our party favors were Buckeyes - an ode to our Alma Mater.

What inspired your wedding stationery vision?

To be honest, I had no idea what I wanted when we first started considering wedding stationary. And that's when the miracle-worker that Kristen is, came in! During our first meeting with her, she was able to help my indecisiveness and through the questions she asked, we ultimately created our vision. When I look at our wedding stationery, I love how fresh, clean yet sophisticated, and beautiful it all is. The Music Hall artwork is spectacular and I am so grateful we got to keep the original painting. I also love that elements from Music Hall were carried throughout other stationery pieces i.e. the big glass window. The stationery is unique to us and I could not have been more thrilled with how it all turned out!

Tell us about your wedding day and what were your favorite details and moments?

Although the day went entirely too fast, it was hands down the best day of our lives. I thought I would be extremely nervous, but I felt calm and relaxed the entire day (okay, maybe not right when I was about to walk down the aisle). Trevor and the groomsmen got ready at his parent's home in Hyde Park and the ladies got ready at the Cincinnati Country Club (CCC). We had our first look outside at the CCC. This was definitely one of my favorite moments - I was just so excited to see Trevor. The ceremony was beautiful and everything we wanted it to be - personal, welcoming, and full of love.

Another favorite moment was getting to see the Music Hall ballroom with our parents before our guests came upstairs from the cocktail hour. When I walked into the room, I was blown away. It was everything we wanted and more. We also loved the speeches from my mom, Trevor's dad, my twin sister, and Trevor's cousin. The first dances were special to us followed by dancing the night away with our families and friends.
