A wedding and a change of plans. Like many couples faced with postponing their weddings due to the pandemic, Linnea + Will went with a modified plan that turned out absolutely gorgeous and offered the couple an opportunity for soul searching. Linnea shared that in the weeks leading up to her wedding it was important to stay focused on things that mattered to us. I felt like a stronger person going into marriage. I kept thinking that we are pretty lucky. I thought about the couples that married during the uncertainty of war and was grateful that at least we could go home and be together.

We added a reflective gold border which made the invitation pop! Watercolor envelope liner and watercolor wash blue with white envelope addressing pulled everything together seamlessly.
Read MoreI wanted our wedding to really reflect our love for each other. Sometimes that is difficult to accomplish when I get caught up in all the little details of the wedding day. When we were planning our wedding, any detail that I was adding or taking away, I kept asking myself if that would reflect "us" and add to the romance of the event.

The sun-filled dining room was transformed with long tables set with florals in soft pinks, cream, silvery greenery, and hints of blue. Warm light from votives and taper candles dressed neutral linens and created a romantic and cozy ambiance. The stationery was elegant and classic with a custom crest of lilies as a nod to the bride’s name. The suite features black lettering and gold foil on a crisp white stock. The day was captured by Megan Noll Photography.

Read MoreThroughout the wedding planning process, it was always important to both Trevor and me that our 300+ guests felt welcomed and felt the love in the room. We really kept this in mind when making decisions around the overall style. Although we knew it would be a large and fun crowd, we also wanted it to be intimate, warm, romantic and modern.

My invitations definitely had a more traditional/classy look to them, but then our engagement pictures, seating chart, table numbers, etc. were more bright and colorful.

Daniel and I have very similar personal styles with few differences. We love everything classic, traditional and regal, be it music or architecture or fashion. We chose the Pinecroft Mansion because we wanted to get married at a venue that reflected our style. I chose a very classic ball gown silhouette for my dress and Daniel was very particular about the style of lapel on his tuxedo (he went with a shawl lapel!). We wanted our invitations to be very traditional and Kristen did a beautiful job of reflecting both of our styles in the design.

At first I wanted a ballgown, but I am short so I kind of looked like a cupcake (not a cute one). A stylist at a bridal salon suggested the mermaid style and I loved it. I thought I looked like Jessica Rabbit! Va-Va-Voom. Anyway, I wanted a classic dress that I wouldn't look back in 10 years and go WTF? So I picked classic ivory silk mermaid gown with some modern elements including an asymmetric hem and a crumb catcher sweetheart neckline.
