A Fall Wedding at the Columbus Museum of Art
A Fall Wedding at Columbus Museum of Art
A gorgeous fall wedding editorial at The Columbus Museum of Art brought to life by an incredible team of Ohio wedding professionals. The color palette is rich and earthy with both warm and cool tones and.lots of unexpected textures. Coral and soft peach florals paired with pale blue velvet linens, gold accents and tableware for an absolutely breathtaking tablescape in the museum’s courtyard.
We drew inspiration from the museum’s permanent collection which includes late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century American and European art. The invitation features landscapes and portraits from the archives of the Smithsonian Institute and connect guests with the space in a subtle way. Everything was printed on handmade cotton stock with soft deckled edges - it is luxurious to hold!
Before the envelope was sealed, the invitation pieces were bound with a delicate gold thread and adorned with an antique calligraphy nib. Envelopes were lined with a painted pastoral landscape. The table was set with lush fall foliage and each place setting has a handmade paper scroll with the guest’s name held in place with a decorative paint brush.
