Destination Weddings
Candace and I are definitely a more unconventional couple, so it was no surprise when we picked not only two weddings, but that one was going to be quite a trek for our guests to get to (my 80-year-old grandmother even had to climb the mountain in France to get to the chateau, and she did an amazing job!) We had such an amazing time and plan on going back to our French chateau for anniversaries to come in the future!
Kendall + Sam fell in love with Palm Springs and were married in a gorgeous outdoor celebration surrounded by the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. The wedding invitations reflected their love of the desert without being typical. The square invitations featured an elegant font Kendall selected bordered in botanical illustrations of local flora including golden brittlebrush, ruby globemallow, thistle, and prairie clover. The enclosure card that invited guests on a hike in Joshua Tree National Park featured the joshua tree, a beloved symbol of survival and resilience.
Anne + Anthony said their “I dos” in a beachside ceremony as the waves crashed into the island of Nantucket. Their classic wedding featured lots of garden fresh florals in white and blush with accents of greenery. We created classic letterpress invitations on premium cotton stock in rich navy with a hydrangea and white watercolor floral monogrammed crest. The enclosure cards were also letterpressed and featured hydrangea details.
Destination beach elegance!
Mary and Christopher were married at The Breakers in Palm Beach, a historic hotel known for its European influenced architecture combined with stunning ocean views. An invitation for such a celebration had to be classic and timeless with a nod to the beachside setting so letterpress was a perfect fit!
Ellie + Jeff’s destination wedding weekend was a vibrant and floral filled celebration in Vero Beach at John’s Island Club. The ocean side venue set the tone for a festive, unforgettable day that Ellie described as, Florida meets summer in the Hamptons. The couple had their first look under moss laden oak trees followed by an outdoor ceremony with a ceremony arc of meadow flowers and dancing into the night at their beachside reception under a sailcloth tent.
We love creating stationery for a destination wedding and Krishna + Adam’s Maui celebration was a total delight! Over the course of several days the couple shared and celebrated with friends and family in Hawaii. The intimate island setting allowed for a stress free itinerary that included many sunsets and catching up with loved ones.
So many things fell into place that would not have been possible if we had our wedding in 2020. It is funny to look back and be thankful for the pandemic and the weird blessings it provided for our weekend. I would have never planned it this way, but I wouldn't change anything that happened! Planning is about rolling with the punches, have a quick cry and move on!
Like so many couples in 2020, Krishna + Adam were faced with the difficult decision to postpone their July wedding. Krishna loved her wedding stationery and sharing it is a happy reminder of the celebration to come in 2021! The wedding venue, Olowalu Plantation, is located on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
A beautiful summer destination wedding on the shores of Saint Simon’s Island in Georgia. Although Tyler and Allison’s wedding was rescheduled 3 times due to covid Allison shares that the her wedding turned out more perfect than imagined, a sentiment shared by so many of our couples whose plans have been impacted by covid. The ocean view ceremony took place flanked by towering palm trees surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Kristen's smile says it all! Seashells, crystal waters, and childhood memories on the shores of Siesta Key made Anna Maria Island the perfect place for Kristen + Stephen's intimate, ocean front wedding. Bright yellow and magenta florals, palm fronds, and the lush setting came together seamlessly complete with handmade signs by Kristen's dad!

Kelly + Kirby loved black and white and gold. And I mean WHITE. Crisp, clean, brilliant, bright white! A stark contrast to a rich black engraved ink - the deepest black I believe you can achieve in print. And Kelly was not shy about the pops of gold. Bold in the save the dates - a gold glitter liner - this is gonna be a celebration!! A slightly more subdued gold on the invitation - a bit more elegant and feminine.
Keisha + Chris were married classic southern style in Music City. Guests enjoyed a festive weekend in Nashville during the Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo with plenty to do. The wedding and reception took place at the historic Riverwood Mansion near the banks of the Cumberland River.
