Linnea + Will's Intimate Backyard Wedding with Letterpress Stationery

A wedding and a change of plans. Like many couples faced with postponing their weddings due to the pandemic, Linnea + Will went with a modified plan that turned out absolutely gorgeous and offered the couple an opportunity for soul searching. Linnea shared that in the weeks leading up to her wedding it was important to stay focused on things that mattered to us. I felt like a stronger person going into marriage. I kept thinking that we are pretty lucky. I thought about the couples that married during the uncertainty of war and was grateful that at least we could go home and be together.

Brittany + Troy's Summer Wedding at Cooper Creek Event Center

Brittany + Troy were married in an outdoor ceremony at Cincinnati’s Cooper Creek Event Center on a gorgeous summer day. Tell us about finding your dress.

I am an avid watcher of ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ and I like to think I am fashion forward so I wanted to find a unique dress. Therefore, I took my mum to New York, and while I did go to Kleinfeld, I eventually found my dress at Bridal Reflection. It was a Ysa Makino dress with detachable skirt and lots of embellishments. It certainly reflected my love for shiny sparkly things!

I tried my best to make sure that when people attended my wedding, they immediately said to themselves, “Yeah. Molly totally planned this!” Everything from the colors, blush pink and gold, to the floral centerpieces, first dance choice (Beauty and the Beast because I’m a Disney FANATIC) and quirky escort cards (we had gold animals attached to each) screamed Molly!

The reception was at Ault Park! We had such an amazing crew that helped the day come together. I could not believe my eyes when I finally saw our day come to life. It is something else planning a day, and making decisions and you have no clue how it will all come together. Well my vendors were the A team! Everything was perfect.

How was your personal style reflected in your wedding day?

I have always been all about anything that sparkles and thankfully we found tasteful ways to incorporate that into our day. Our sweetheart table had a sparkle overlay to it and our cake was on a stand that looked like it was covered in diamonds! My dress had a sparkle belt on it and although I wasn’t able to convince the guys to wear any sparkle, my bridesmaids had some sparkle on their dresses.

Ellie + Jay were married on a perfect summer day in July at Saint Rose Church in Cincinnati's East End. The reception followed at Greenacres Art Center, one of our city's most beautiful and historic estates. Tall trees pepper the lawns of Greenacres shading the buildings, walkways, and many carefully planted garden beds.

Courtney + Kevin's Cincinnati Ault Park Wedding Day

Courtney + Kevin could not have picked a more perfect June day to gather friends and family for their wedding. Vows were exchanged at St. Mary's in Hyde Park followed by an outdoor celebration at Ault Park. Billowy draping and strung cafe lights hovered over long family style tables covered in romantic florals and fabrics. Courtney was radiant in her gown surrounded by her beautiful bridesmaids. Libby + Brendan's summer wedding was all modern elegance. Libby and her bridesmaids carried hand tied bouquets of calla, also known as trumpet lilies, whose graceful white blossoms are natural wonders. Vows were exchanged in the Chapel at The Summit Country Day School and guests gathered at The Center for a modern reception with a minimal palette. Kara + Andrew's Belle Event Center Wedding

Cupid himself could not have picked a better pair! We love the story of Kara + Andrew's introduction, an instant connection between two wonderful individuals. We love how Kara incorporated her interest in the architecture and history of a space into her choice of reception venue and played one of her grandmother's favorite songs which happens to be a Christmas song at the reception! The spontaneous stop at the blue house adds a touch of whimsy and a great memory to a day full of them
