Anne + Anthony said their “I dos” in a beachside ceremony as the waves crashed into the island of Nantucket. Their classic wedding featured lots of garden fresh florals in white and blush with accents of greenery. We created classic letterpress invitations on premium cotton stock in rich navy with a hydrangea and white watercolor floral monogrammed crest. The enclosure cards were also letterpressed and featured hydrangea details.

Shelby Jo envisioned a day filled with soft, spring pinks and whites with accents of champagne. Elegant, pastel watercolor florals and the entwined first letters of their name were printed in champagne across the top of main invite and the seating chart. A border of watercolor florals filled the edges of the RSVP and detail card. Invitations were sent out tucked into envelopes with deep blush liners. Transparency Photography captured the day perfectly.

When we were planning our wedding, any detail that I was adding or taking away, I kept asking myself if that would reflect "us" and add to the romance of the event.

I wanted my guests to know I had worked really hard to pull everything together and incorporating our "bee" into so many of the pieces of our wedding helped convey that nothing was there by chance.

Our wedding was black tie and the mood was a vintage/contemporary Gatsby. I am a sparkle girl at heart so there were definitely elements of that throughout our whole wedding, including the invitations. I chose to have our wedding black tie because it was such a special occasion and to fit the Gatsby mood. Nothing is more fun then getting dressed up for a night of celebrating! I have a classic, edgy style but with our wedding I just wanted a sophisticated, romantic and beautiful evening with stunning flowers, chandeliers, candles and a good deal of sparkle. I think the pictures speak for themselves.
